1606 S Delaware Dr 4 years 2 months agoWhen the Delaware River crests over the canal banks at Rt. 611 and Browns Drive, Rt. 611 is under 2' to 4' of water for about 100 yards, north and south of Browns Lane, making the lane and 611 north and south not passable as evacuation routes

74 Centre Sq 4 years 3 months agoPre Covid the lights and cross walk have been an issue in this location for pedestrians. This area 'should' be car free walking and biking only with plenty of outdoor activities... Imagine the park that could replace the road and what could be done with all that space!

open space which allows harmless flooding and absorption of runoff

GPS routing sends OTR heavy trucks onto this road. the turns are not possible for these trucks necessitating backing up a hill, blind. a simple sign should suffice.

204 W Elizabeth Ave 4 years 2 months agoThis street, which leads to the grocery store, lacks a sidewalk. I have seen many pedestrians, including grocery store employees, walking on this road, sometimes even at night, and I think that because of its proximity to the plaza, it should have a sidewalk.

920 Old Sullivan Trl 4 years 2 months agoIt is impossible to see the traffic from the stop sign. Also, despite the speed limit sign and the illuminated numbers, people consistently do 10-20 mph above the limit on this road, making pulling out onto the road scary, and making a simple walk or bike ride here harrowing.

1253 Old Sullivan Trl 4 years 2 months agoThere is no sidewalk on this narrow, winding road that leads almost directly into town. As such, pedestrians are constantly on edge, literally and figuratively, trying to reach downtown on foot. We should encourage the use of feet, bicycles, and other forms of non-vehicular transportation, but there must be a safe system in place. How can we help people who are within 3 miles of Easton’s center to safely reach town without a vehicle?

23 Centre Sq 4 years 2 months agoThis circle, used for regular events, is not large enough for events, nor is it in a safe location for events. I think using the park along the river for things like the farmer’s market would make more sense for practicality and safety and flow of traffic.

2101 N Delaware Dr 4 years 2 months agoI feel as if a traffic light should be put in place here. It is a three way intersection and a few bushes prevent drivers from seeing oncoming traffic from the left. Not only is their vision blocked, most drivers turn right so most locals automatically assume they're turning sometimes causing severe accidents.

946 S Delaware Dr 4 years 2 months agoFrom the Iron Mule Restaurant to Blue Moon Automotive on Route 611 S., in Raubsville, there exists a constant risk of falling trees and rockslides, especially after heavy rains, or snow/ice melts. Warning signs at the beginning of either of these points, would be useful ,and perhaps even curtail the velocity of numerous speeders on the road.

537 Royal Manor Rd 4 years 2 months agoFry's Run Park is adjacent to Rt. 611 south and Royal Manor Road, in Raubsville, and is the terminus of the 4 1/2 mile stream known as Fry's Run. The landscape is varied with much work done regarding stream buffers, and the planting of hundreds of trees over the last decade. Diverse wildlife in the area, including fish and macroinvertabates & sensitive amphibians need protection.

27 N Bank St 4 years 2 months agoconcern about plan for more high rise parking garage in town of Easton, in areas which would potentially eliminate shade trees, and parking features already available. Trees along streets, and areas between building are beneficial for shade, wildlife, and keeping hot cities cooler in summer.

2268 S Delaware Dr 4 years 2 months agoOn the East side of Rt. 611 near Young Street, in Raubsville is a large stone building with the front part of its roof collapsed. It was built about 110 years ago, and supplied electricity for the trolley cars that took passengers between Easton and Doylestown in the early 20th century. It could serve as a local historical museum, located adjacent to the canal park.
